1. Recording of your streets
With our SMART Mobile app, you can easily capture image data of your road infrastructure during operation, whether in a car, commercial vehicle with a bicycle or an e-scooter. The recording is automatic and fully data privacy compliant. For entire vehicle fleets, there is also the option of permanently installing our SMART Fleet solution for image capture.
2. Condition evaluation with AI
Our AI provides an objective evaluation of the road condition based on industry standards as well as numerous practical statistics. The evaluation is carried out regularly and completely autonomously by our proprietary AI, which has been trained with experience from the TURNER and HOCHTIEF Group.
3. Evaluation and management from the desk
Evaluate the condition data in the Data Hub comfortably from your desk and carry out virtual inspections. In the Data Hub, you can filter your road network according to damage classes, road surfaces and various other dimensions so that you always have all the details at a glance.

On which smartphones does EDGITAL work?
EDGTIAL works on all common smartphones – whether Iphone or Android.
How is image data analyzed?
The image data is evaluated using artificial intelligence developed by EDGITAL engineers. As a result, damage on the images is automatically detected and evaluated.
How does the condition data from the AI evaluation help me?
In the Data Hub, you can filter your road network according to damage classes, road surfaces and various other dimensions so that you always have all the details about your roads at a glance.
This information helps you to recognize changes in condition at an early stage so that you can then plan maintenance measures based on the data.
What is the difference between SMART Mobile and SMART Fleet?
SMART Mobile is an iPhone app for recording image data. SMART Fleet is a permanently installed camera.
If you are looking for a flexible solution and want to use EDGITAL on different roads and in different vehicles, we recommend SMART Mobile.
If you operate a large fleet of waste disposal vehicles, SMART Fleet can have operational advantages. This is usually the case from a network length of 500 miles.

What does EDGITAL cost?
The price depends on the modules booked and the length of the route called up. In the basic version, you can use EDGITAL for less than 5 dollar per day.

Can I combine the EDGITAL modules?
All EDGITAL modules are compatible and run together in the Data Hub. You can combine individual modules as well as use modules for parts of your road network – for example, pure image data for secondary roads and AI evaluations for main roads.
